So, as you can see, things are moving along down at our new build. They poured the basement and installed the two window wells for the basement. They also cute down the partially dead tree that would have been hanging directly over our house and two in our next door neighbor’s yard. It’s sad to have that gap there. It was a really nice, big, old tree, but we would have been even sadder if it fell on our house once fully dead, so it had to go. The builders covered the cost since it was done before we closed so that’s good. We are going to have 9ft ceilings in the basement. The drain in the basement was placed exactly where my husband wanted it so all is right so far. We are getting very excited now that it’s starting to look like a house and not a pile of dirt!
